Rebekka is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in both Iowa and New York. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Human Services from William Penn University, and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Iowa. Rebekka's professional career has included advocating and empowering survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and homelessness, supporting individuals through inpatient treatment for substance abuse, and assisting clients in their growth journey in outpatient settings.
Rebekka works with couples and individuals ages 13 and up. She specializes in Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, depression, anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, personality disorders, trauma, relationship concerns, codependency, stress management, and queer-affirming care. Rebekka prefers a collaborative approach and utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and strength-based techniques to meet each client's unique needs.
Rebekka loves watching people grow spiritually, mentally, and emotionally through therapy, and is always on the lookout for new experiences to grow and learn herself.
