Trent is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over 22 years of professional and clinical expertise in providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults within both inpatient and outpatient treatment settings. Trent obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in both Psychology and Sociology from Coe College and his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Iowa. Trent is a State of Iowa Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), a Certified-Advanced Child, Youth, and Family Social Worker (C-ACYFSW), and a Member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW). Trent's therapeutic approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused, using cognitive behavioral theory and systems theory.
Trent specializes in the treatment of teens and adults with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia.
